So far I’ve got (for 8 adults and 10 kids):

Ham
Side of salmon
Potato salad
Potato wedges
Potato skins
Fresh bread
Crackers
Cheese
Charcuterie
Pâté
Pickles
Olives
Chutney
Crudités
Crisps
Dips
Pigs in blankets
Sausage rolls

Christmas cake, mince pies and Colin the Caterpillar for afters.

What’s missing?

Big bowl of homemade coleslaw and salad stuff and you're done I reckon

I would just add a couple of salads like tomato salad/greek salad/garden salad.

other than that it looks lovely.

I think it's good, unless you want to bring in a pasta or couscous salad. I'd probably leave the dip out though.

Following... DH just announced a desire for NYE buffet rather than curry!

I also agree with adding something salady. I'd swap the potato salad for coleslaw (too many potato dishes i think?) Plus a simple mixed salad.

I'd serve big bunches of green and red grapes with the cheese.

Sounds lovely, enjoy x

Pasta or couscous, there's a lot of potato action there.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 27/12/2021 09:43

And definitely some kind of green/tomato salad.

Cookerhood · 27/12/2021 09:45

Too much potato - no need for wedges & potato skins. You need greenery & fruit - salads, grapes, fruit salad?

NCkitchen · 27/12/2021 23:21

Chicken wings
or something chicken based

Something veggie , maybe a quiche
