What do you think of my Christmas Cake?

I started baking in March. This is the first time I've done a 3 tier cake like this. I don't like fruit cake so I've gone for a chocolate tree stump.

The trimmings taste nice anyway!

Whoever said about the robin, you're right but it was too late to get one by the time I thought about it as none in my local shops and I'm not ready to model yet

I don’t think I could bear/ bare (can’t remember and both look wrong now) to cut into such a masterpiece, so you think people would be happy if you gave them a mince pie and a photo of the cake instead?

@Pegasussnail I started through sheer boredom whilst working from home tbh.

I started with a pineapple upside-down cake, then onto cup cakes, then blueberry and lemon (which is my fave). Then I made my husband a coffee mug from coffee cake which was rubbish then that one.

Not sure what to try next.

If anyone is local to Southampton you're welcome to try some 🤣

Oh, and although my husband is a chef and has given me a few ideas I have tended to Google recipes and YouTube the icing technique.

Well it looks a damn sight better than mine, OP! ( Emergency royal icing snow scene when the fondant icing didn't turn up in the groceries)
