Defrosting turkey joint

First year cooking turkey (mainly veggie household) and I have a 1.8kg turkey breast joint. It says to defrost for 18 hours at room temp - wondered if from experience that's enough as need it ready to cook in the morning so tempted to take it out of the freezer now to give it 24-26 hours but also keen not to poison anyone...

I've got turkey crown, it's about the same size and it's been in the fridge 24 hours and isn't close to being defrosted yet.

Thanks for that. My fridge is stuffed so I think I'm going straight for defrosting at room temp!

A boneless joint won't take a long but I'd definitely get it out now.
