Recommendations for decent baking trays

Hi
Not sure if this is the correct place to post!

I am after some decent hardwearing old fashioned heavy baking trays...The kind you see chefs use on the tv! Does anyone have any suggestions where such things might exist?!
For some reason our baking trays don't seem to last for whatever reason..(probably my cooking) so I am prepared to invest if needs be!

Thank you

I too rate the Sainsbury's black range. I have some of their cake/quiche and loaf tins and they all perform really well. Good value for money too.

If you have a local Homesense it's always worth having a look. They sometimes have good quality french and german cookwares.

What about Pyrex baking trays, do you rate them? I am tempted, I'd love to be able to bung it in the dishwasher and not have to worry about it. But obviously Pyrex doesn't conduct heat like metal. Any thoughts?

I love our Pyrex ones. No, they don't conduct heat in the same way but I put it in the oven when I'm preheating it, so it makes no difference - it's still bloody hot when I put the food in. They obviously don't warp at all, clean fantastically in the dishwasher - I'm a complete convert. Ocado often has them on offer.

Same as another couple of posters, I highly recommend Mermaid. They were recommended by Delia Smith! They were on our wedding list almost 20 years ago, used almost daily and still going strong.
