Favourite recipes for cheaper cuts of meat

I have a lot of meals to produce over Christmas so I've bought some cheaper cuts of meat to help me keep within budget.

What are your favourite recipes for things like beef brisket and silverside?

I'm thinking of doing this Hugh Fearnley whittingstall bresaola

We've a pork joint for after Christmas so I think I'll try this for a change.

Shin of beef is absolutely wonderful floured, browned, and cooked very long and slow with onions, a little mustard, a pinch of sugar, bayleaves, thyme, salt, pepper, stock cube/powder and beer of some sort. Guinness is ideal.
