Meat package full of air / bloated

Lately if i buy mince or pork chops the packaging is always slightly bulged i assumed because map packaged but now read can be due to off meat ?
Which is it
Just cooking belly pork and the package wasn't flat it def raised a little that when you put knife in to cut it deflates quick
Meat right colour in date and no smell

Given your last sentence, I would eat it.

Think its how it wAs packaged as opposed to blown as spoiled
