Please can I have your simple quiche recipes

I’ve tried google and bbc food etc and thes tons of recipes but it’s all so complicated. I’m using up what I have at home. Eggs, bacon, cherry tomatoes milk, butter flour etc,

These recipes keep banging on about Gruyère cheese, cream, sea food, cheeses I’ve never heard of.

I just need a simple recipe

If I'm going for simple I do bacon, onion and cheese

Saute three onions until soft and translucent. Cut the bacon into strips and fry unit cooked

Put onions, bacon and some grated cheddar into the quiche dish which you have lined with shortcrust pastry

Beat 6 eggs, add a splash of milk and pepper - pour in

Edited to add - I don't blind bake the crust but I know some people do

Fivemoreminutes I did looked at the Mary berry quiche Lorraine but sadly I need Gruyère cheese and single cream which sadly I don’t have and I’m not going out for but I might try and look for that one next time

Hmmm I am a rough cook so tend to guess.

I would make pastry bero recipie or use ready made puff or short.

Cook bacon and snip up. Add contents of fridge. Nothing except meat would I cook. So veg etc all raw. Sprinkle some cheese. Mix six eggs and a dash of milk, add another two or three with milk if not enough. I like it about two thirds full once egg is in. Bake it until golden, about forty minutes,

MIne is very similar to Genial except that I add a small carton of double cream to the egg mixture. I've never baked my pastry blind either and it's always turned out fine,

Blind bake a shortcrust pastry pie liner.
Bacon lardons, an onion, some garlic. Fry til soft. Add 2 eggs, a small carton of cream snd a small carton of crème fraiche. Add a couple handfuls grated cheddar. Place into pie dish snd bake for about 29 mins or so at 200 degrees until bubbly and cheese starts to darken.
