Black treacle uses

I buy black treacle for the Christmas cake. It keeps well so lasts a few years. But I'd rather use it up more quickly. DD cannot eat ginger so rules out gingerbread etc.

How else can I use it?

Thanks.I love treacle tart but have only ever made it with golden syrup. Have you made it with black treacle too @AllTheUsernamesAreAlreadyTaken ?

Swap some of the golden syrup in a flapJack recipe out for treacle (I like about 1/3), much nicer esp if you add some nuts & seeds
