Canapés for Christmas party

I am just starting to make a list of food for our Christmas party.

I'm thinking of finger food / canapés only so no need for cutlery.

I need to include some healthy options, also things that can be prepared in advance with minimal effort on the night.

Would anyone care to share their favourite recipes. Or even best shop bought items?

Mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef and horseradish
Caprese skewers
Smoked salmon pate on bruschetta- if you don’t have time to make the pate, I’d just use this www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/307338119
Brie and cranberry bruschetta- bog standard shop-bought cranberry sauce is just as good.

Delia’s sausage rolls are an essential Christmas canapé. Not the most healthy though… but once a year is fine imo.

I think you can give yourself a pass on “healthy” at a Christmas party. I am a healthy eater but would not expect it for canapés at a party.

Honey and mustard chipolata sausages halved and on a cocktail stick always go down well here :)

Favourite here is a ritz cracker with Philadelphia and a dab of sweet chilli sauce

What you need is aboard of fancy bamboo canapé skewers! All food is better on a stick.
Fig, cube of blue cheese, small basil leaf
Cooked sweet chilli prawn, little ring of chorizo, mozzarella ball
Ribbon of cucumber (only skewer one end), cube of cooked chicken tikka breast, cube of mango, cucumber ribbon looped around chicken and mango and then skewered to secure.

Then blinis with smoked salmon, cream cheese and dill.
Cocktail sausages marinated in honey and mustard (with a stick if you like!)
Puff pastry squares with Brie’s and cranberry
Toasted French baguette rounds topped with a good cheddar and caramelised onion chutney warmed in the oven to melt the cheese.
