last bean soup i made was too thick and gloopy... how can i make it less like a stew and more like a soup!?

add more stock?
Stick some curry powder in, and you will have a nice spicy bean soup.

i am always worried about diluting it too much and making it flavourless.. .will give it a go, maybe with chicken stock..

Chicken or veg stock should dilute it and flavour it.

have made it , with chicken stock, and threw a parmesan rind in, for good measure.. tis delish

i seem to have lost all my cooking confidence of late
