Well, if you are happy with good chains, then Nandos and Wagamama both have nice branches five mins away from the south end, just along Clink Street from the Cathedral
On a sunny windless day you could perhaps risk some of the fantastic hot fast food from Borough Market and picnic in the grounds of the Cathedral itself...

Thanks, Marina - we love Wagamamas in Fleet Street, so could be a goer.

I've seen that there's a TAS in Borough High St.

Anyone know if Tas is any good.

Tas is always a good bet and that branch is very popular with families daddster
The only thing that puts me off it at all is that it's a rather busy location - narrowish pavement outside and lots of traffic down Borough High Street
I love the way they can gallop off along the riverside walk from Nandos or Wagamama
