Cut into 1-2cm cubes, boil until al dente, then fry in butter with brown sugar, nutmeg & s+p.

Meera Sodha's swede laksa is a bit different to the usual boil and mash with butter and pepper but I do love it that way as well, recipe here

Thinly slice, cook on the hob in butter and salt.

A nice swede recipe is an oxymoron in my opinion Grin I have bad memories of being served lumpy, watery, mashed swede several times a week at school.

I have been know to make this to use up leftover swede after making Cornish pasties the only legitimate reason to eat swede:

I cook swede like this all the time. It’s a lovely substitute for chips and goes well with loads of meals.
