Meat free chicken oxo

Was in Tesco this week and wanted to buy chicken oxo. It was all meat free.

I want my chicken oxo to be chicken, not meat free. And what's the point in making it meat free? Surely vegetarians don't want things to be chicken flavoured?

I bought Tesco stock pots instead (probably better taste tbf) but why can't they leave meaty things to be meaty? They already make veg stock cubes.

I remember being alarmed as kid when I found out roast chicken crisps were vegetarian but cheese and onion weren't. Very strange.

As for oxo, I just had a look at the chicken stock cubes I bought yesterday and they have "concentrated chicken extract" quite far down in the list. I just buy them for the MSG anyway.
