Are tea bags ok after their BB date?!

I have tea at home for visitors but don't drink it myself, so I can't test these teabags to find out whether they're ok. I've found a box of Yorkshire Gold with a BB date of February 2020 and a box of Earl Grey with a BB date of June 2021. Do you think they'd be fine, or would they be a bit stale?!

2021 will be fine. 2020 may be a bit stale.

Will also depend on whether or not you've opened them. The Feb 2020 ones will likely be stale either way, but the June 2021 will be fine if unopened, but definitely stale if you first opened them a couple of years ago and/or they've not been kept in an airtight container.

BB is a marker of quality rather than safety - I expect they'll be totally fine or at worst slightly "off" in taste but broadly OK.
