Emergency - I've just made banana bread and forgotten the baking powder

It's all set to put in the tin, used wholemeal flour not self -r aising but I've just realised I forgot to put baking powder in at the right stage.

Can I put it in now? Will it mix in? Will it stay a floppy lump of stodge if I don't bother? TIA

Sieve it in with a spot more flour and mix it well. Keep fingers crossed!

Put it in now and give it a stir it will be fine.

I isually make mine in the food processor and bung it all in pretty much togehter always turns out aswell as when I used to follow the order etc.
