pickling onions?

Does anyone know where I can find pickling onions or just small onions? I can't find them in any supermarket and regular onions are too big..

Can I use shallots instead? I've never actually made them before but every recipe I've found/you tube videos use small onions and I cannot find them!

I always get mine in large sacks from individual green grocers. Round shallots will work.

I bought a bag of baby onions in Sainsbo 2 days ago. They're smaller than shallots, & don't need soaking in boiling water to peel them.

Omg. I call it Sainsbos too. I never knew others did.
