date syrup.....why did I buy it & what do I do with it?!

It’s good in porridge, flapjacks, rice pudding, cheesecake, and on pancakes.
You can also use it in cakes such as this coconut one and this walnut one.

Probably for the same reason I bought strawberry balsamic vinegar. Cocktails may have had something to do with it.

Leon do a lovely porridge with date syrup. Can't remember the ingredients exactly, but it's called porridge of the gods: chopped banana, nuts perhaps, maybe chopped dates, definitely cacao nibs and date syrup drizzled over!

Just use it like you would honey - it's nice on toast or pancakes, or in yoghurt.
