Another chicken one

Cooked a whole chicken yesterday. Managed to get enough off it for 5 roast dinners and 2 chicken curry's. What I would like to know is, if it is safe to freeze the carcass and the bits of chicken I couldn't strip from it for when I'm ready to make a chicken broth from it? I've already frozen it just not sure if it's can be done that way or should have been made straight away

I always freeze chicken bones and scraps ready for making stock. If the chicken was originally frozen raw, you can freeze it again after cooking.

Thank you. No fresh chicken cooked, cooled and then frozen

Oh well that’s fine then, yes you can freeze the leftover bones etc and make stock with them later. When you make the stock, bring the bones/water to the boil, and then lower it to a simmer.
