I just bought a soup maker and have made 1 already, but need recipes.

Can anyone share favourite soup maker recipes or a good book that has a good selection?

Thx

I’ve had a soup maker for years and quite honestly the best soups I’ve had have been the ones that I’ve made up as I’m going along. ‘Bottom of the fridge’ soup is a family favourite, as is leftover Sunday soup. The trouble with most recipe books is they tend to need one ingredient that you use a tiny bit of and then don’t need for anything else.

I tend to agree with @2lsinllama and ad lib - as long as I use approx 750g veg it tends to come out well.

I use a lot of root veg, often sweet potatoes and try to add in plenty of kale or spinach. A recent success was when I added a load of mushrooms that I'd cooked in butter.

I like this recipe

Someone bought me the Covent Garden soup for every day book. I was dubious about whether I needed a recipe for good soul but I really liked it and made lots from it.
