Air Fryer?

Hello my 83 MIL has asked for a chip pan for Xmas! She wants to make her own chips again ( on her own so doesn’t need anything big) - I’m really reluctant to buy her something with oil and potential for fire etc ( she’s going a bit dotty) - anyone got an Air Fryer? Do they do chips the same as if in a chip pan? Thanks in advance x

Not quite the same, but very good if you use frozen chips. Definitely an easier option for her, although they are large and take a lot of space up. Would she use it for anything else?

I use mine for all sorts, roast veg, sausages, bacon etc.

Thank you for replying - I don’t think she’d use it for anything else - think I’ll try to dissuade her or hope she’ll forget!
