I am boiling onions with garlic to make a stew, something I have done regularly for years. This time for some reason the onions (or possibly the garlic) has turned a greeny blue colour.
The pot and spoon were completely clean before I started, so it's definitely not contamination. Has anyone else had this happen? I've chopped 20 onions and 20 cloves of garlic, so I will be mightily displeased if I have to discard the lot.
