I don't work for Lidl!!
So I got a leaflet last week though the door from Lidl. I usally don't pay much attention to supermarket recipes - usually they need a lot of new ingredients that are expensive and you probably won't use up - pomegrante molasses I'm looking at you.
There are 5 receipes and a shopping list for all the ingredients - £20 for 5 family meals. All the recipes appealed, they are fairly vege heavy, so I decided to give it a go - I'm desperate for quick easy week night meals and have been uninspired for some time.
Link to recipes but I can't see the shopping list online.

Shopping not a problem - had to make a few substitutions as I shopped late in the day.

DD1 said this was the best meal ever. DD2 hated it and heated herself tomato soup. I really liked it plus it was very quick. And I hate cooking fish but enjoyed using the precooked flaked salmon, so it encourages me to get a fish meal in.
Revelation - frozen green beans are delicious and we all like them. Usually I buy fresh and they end up in the compost. I will be buying frozen beans moving forward.
6/10 as only 2 of us like it. DD1 took leftovers for school lunch.

I substituted chicken breast as kids don't like legs and there were no thighs left. It took a bit longer to make but much of that was oven time. Was concerned as kids say they don't like sweet potato but I love sweet potato so I persisted. Subbed full fat Greek yoghurt for fat free Grekk yoghurt for personal preference.
Everyone loved it!! And lots leftover for my lunch today and tomorrow.
9/10 result! Will make again with chicken thighs.
- Tonight we will have Vegetable curry - it uses a jar sauce which I usually never buy so I'm a bit wary - will report back!
