I would love to know if you have a recipe for bread and butter pickles that I can use for the 3-4 huge cucumbers leftover this season.
What I have in terms of ingredients is a little basic (white vinegar, pickling vinegar, mustard seeds, probably some tumeric, bay, cayenne, chilli flakes, pepper etc).
I haven't ever made pickles before. I have no canning equipment, but I do have jars.
I don't have pickling salt, but I do have normal salt.
This is why I need your help - the internet recipes are either homesteaders with a whole canning production line or people with a wider range of interesting ingredients than me.
So a simple, straight-forward, beginner-level recipe is what I need - please and thank you!
