milk the breakfast

it is my (18 months) DS's equivalent of my morning cuppa which i can't start the day without

he has just dropped his bedtime milk though so i guess this morning milk may not last much longer

Milk then breakfast for DS who is 18mths - gives us an hour or so to get up/dressed/sorted and on the days he goes to nursery (where he has breakfast) means he isn't running on empty. The only problem is that you do have to leave a while between the two and somedays you just want to be off and out. He has milk still at night - though none in the day. Its a routine that at the mo suits us all.

Milk then breakfast

Milk first, definitely, it's DS' first word when I go in to get him at 7am - 'Milk, get the milk'...

Although we don't find any problems with breakfast almost straight afterwards, he eats cornflakes and toast and marmite within half an hour at most.

Simultaneous. I plonk both on the table for ds at the same time, and let him choose what to do with them.

I would say breakfast first at that age. Ds is only 11 months and he doesn't have milk at all until mid-morning (still breastfeeding.)

Simultantious here too. We get up, we go downstairs, we have breakfast and milk / tea according to age bracket.

ds (14 months) gets his cup of milk while I sort breakfast and then will finish it off along with breakfast.
