Kids Eat in Color - Real Easy Weekdays

Hi all. I bloody love the nutritionist Jennifer Anderson who runs Kids Eat in Color, but I’m reluctant to try her recipe book, Real Easy Weekdays, just in case it’s a bit too American, ingredients-wise and I end up wasting my money.

Has anyone tried it and can comment?

I avoid all US cookbooks now.
It's such a faff to convert from F to C, & the cup measurements are a joke - inaccurate & inconsistent.
As you say, the ingredients are often things that we don't have/want/need in UK.

Don’t know that author but I dont know why it’s hard to use American recipes? I use them all the time. Buy a set of cup measurements and off you go! No harder than weighing ingredients on a scale.

Try checking out Charlotte Stirling Reed instead - she’s from the Uk - Priya Tew is also great

Oh no, I'm a happy cup-user. I'm just resentful of all the pre-chopped, pre-seasoned products they have there - it's like "try this three-ingredient recipe!" and the ingredients are like velveeta and those mixed tins of tomatoes, onions and chillies.

I know. The roasted tomatoes in a can. Wish we had them here!
