Green tomatoes

I have a glut of green tomatoes.

What would you do with them?

Chutney!

I should have said. Chutney is the obvious choice but I’m the only one in our household who eats condiments.

Fried green tomatoes (as per whistle-stop cafe)?

Yep, came on to say Fried Green Tomatoes!

Put some in a brown paper bag with a banana, others on a sunny windowsill to see which ripen sooner.

They're really good in curry. Especially the slightly sourish fish curries where you can use them in addition or instead of tamarind. Or alternatively tangy veggie curry.
