I have 2DS, age 2 and . Littlest has a dairy and egg allergy and DH is allergic to nuts.

I need help with tea - DS2 has decided that he's now super fussy and in the last fortnight has refused to eat risotto, cottage pie, and fajitas. All previous favourite things. This is in part due to Daniel he now sits with who (according to DS) ,only eats Gregg's sausage rolls, chicken nuggets and Macdonald's. DS has graciously agreed he'll add sausages and fish fingers to that list.

Any ideas of home cooked meals I stand a chance of getting him to eat. I'm going to get him to help me make some sausage rolls at the weekend, but any ideas of quick, easy meals that are tolerable to DS?

I mean obviously Daniel is most likely talking twaddle, but my child is stubborn and in a take it or leave it situation will leave it to make a point. I don't know where he gets that from. Much.

Could who work with the sausages a bit?
Sausage casserole, sausage tray bake (sweet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, peppers, red onion, garlic). Sausage pasta. You could always try chicken or veggie sausage to add a bit of variety.

Maybe try cod topped with a herby breadcrumb.

Could be pushing it a bit but falafel have a kind of nugget like appearance. Serve in pitta with salads bits.

How about toad in the hole?
Chicken goujons
Pitta/ crumpet pizza

Why not get Daniel round, feed him fajitas or cottage pie and see what happens ...

Vegan mac and cheese www.sacla.co.uk/blogs/recipes/vegan-mac-n-cheese It’s good for hiding blitzed up cauliflower or grated courgette.
Homemade burgers. If you can’t find a recipe without eggs, try Jamie Oliver’s best vegan burgers. They’re quick and my dc like them.
Your son might eat curry if you explain that Daniel probably gets one from his local Indian every once in a while. Even more appealing if you get mini poppadums to dip in it!
