Unfortunately DH new job has seen him having to move across the country (a 5hr drive away) so while DD finish his A Levels here I will be spending time between the two. Generally I will spend a week with DS then 3 days DH then back to DS. It's not ideal but it's what we have to do until A levels are over in May next year.

Anyhoo, while with DS I was hoping to batch cook some meals. He is a hungry lad and does lots of sports so I need things that are filling but also nutritious that freeze well so he can take one out in the morning and then zap it in the microwave in the evening for dinner.

What are your best make ahead freezable meals?

DS not DD, not that it would make much of a difference!

Lasagnes, they're even better frozen in terms of staying in layers when cooked. Plus he will only need to add vegetables.
