Can anyone name this sweet?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a sweet of my youth, which I used to get from newsagents when they sold sweets in weight from glass jars (I'm sure some newsagents still do, but not where I live).

It was a sort of round aniseed flavoured jelly and covered in very small sugared dots, some sweets were pink and some were blue.

We called them worm cakes, but I've searched online and the only thing coming up under that name are things to treat worm infestations - and they definitely weren't that!

Has anyone seen them under a different name or see where you can buy them online please? Thank you!

My dad used to call them worm cakes but I haven’t heard anyone refer to them as that in years. Are you from the north east?
