@BiddyPop I bloody love a scone and i have clotted cream .... in the freezer Grin

@Ozanj Thank you for that, i did not realise you could make it, i really like paneer as well, but never buy it as I'm the only one that eats it.

OOoh, love a bit of turkey gravy.. Defrost that, buy a turkey breast, and do a mid-week mini roast Grin - you might even have some leftover veggies that you could put into an ovenproof dish as an easy side. (Or make cauliflower cheese, to use up more milk!! Tee heee!!).

Have afternoon tea for yourself with scones and clotted cream, as a reward for lots of cooking/baking earlier in the day.

And then enjoy the anticipation of a lovely sandwich with grilled paneer as lunch tomorrow.

All sorted. (Dusts hands, walks off, oblivious to the mountain of washing up I have inflicted ...)

Went for Mac and cheese for dinner - apparently they were talking about it at school today, so fancied it! So that was a brilliant suggestion.
I also have enough cheese sauce for cheesy leeks on Sunday - yippee!
Finished off with croissants spread with nutella and banana, bread and butter pudding. I sprinkled it with chopped nuts. It was immense.
The bananas were out the freezer Grin

This thread has made me realise I really do need to tackle my freezers, they are utterly pointless at the moment really!

Thank you ever so much, I had a complete brain fart this morning and couldn’t think of anything except rice pudding. I was imaging Father Ted “that’s a very milky cup of tea mrs Doyle, in fact it’s all milk”.
probably a pint and a half to go, that’s hot chocolate tonight and maybe scones tomorrow, depending how many for hot chocolate!

I’m going to get some whole milk to make paneer next week, I’m looking forward to that one. I’ve also made a note of the salmon recipe for next week as well.

So all in all you’ve all meal planned for a good few days for me. So honestly, thank you all ever so much

@BiddyPop the dishwasher is being run again As I type Grin

Bollocks just seen the Yorkshire pudding and toad in the hole suggestion. I’ve some questionable sausages that need using as well.

I’ll do the sniff test for tomorrow Grin

Make it into yoghurt and it’ll keep for another couple of weeks.

Etinox · 16/09/2021 22:10

You can leave it a few days and still make paneer.

Cosmosgrowinmygarden · 22/09/2021 18:06

OP please could you tell me how you make cheesy leeks? And could I make them Saturday for Sunday dinner?

Susannahmoody · 22/09/2021 18:09

Bread and butter pudding but made with the croissants no-one is eating.
