Anyone know any good cooking forums/Facebook groups?

Any I've joined just seems to be sharing of recipes from people's blogs etc. I'd love a place where people can discuss techniques/ask questions etc. Surely such a place exists!

I'm in one called Food Lovers Forum which is pretty good, nice and friendly very varying levels of skill though. BBC good food one is ok too.

Home cooking recipes with David Simpson.

There are some really great recipes and ideas in there. I do have to skip by the clearly dated plates reminiscent of post war rationing from some posters.

I love FLF because the skill level is just so insanely varied. I love that everyone who posts obviously thinks their food is brilliant and everyone is supportive. But some of the dishes look awful and some look so amazing I'm gobsmacked these aren't professionals chefs.

I've asked and answered questions re cooking on there too although that doesn't seem to be the main purpose of the group.

Hopefully I am not one of the awful ones although I don't post very often😅. You're right some of them are amazing chefs I wish I had their skill and food budget, have never come across anyone nasty in there it's the only group I feel comfortable posting in. wonders who Ginger is 🤔

Group is way too big for any of us to figure out! I don't post that often - just now and again - but love to see it on my feed, even the less impressive ones! I just love the enthusiasm and support. It's so rare! Grin

I hope this doesn't sound mean because I really do genuinely love that everyone is so enthusiastic, but I have noticed the less good ones are often men. I like to think that they're maybe new to cooking, so even more well done to them!
