Along dumpling from Tebay services

I've googled to no avail and I need to satisfy my craving so thought I'd check here!

Last month at the farm shop at Tebay Services I bought some funny pastries that were sort of like dumplings (in mismatched sausage shapes.) But they were sweet and almond flavour, although didn't have almonds on them. I guess they were slightly like almond fingers but they weren't cakes, they were quite dense.

I was wondering if anyone knew what they were called? I'm guessing maybe from the local area but I live in Kent, which also means I can't go back there in a hurry 😞 But I need some of these so would love to try to make them at home. If I knew what they were called.

See these look lovely but Are more like almond fingers. Which I also love. The one I had was quite mis-shapen and looked like a lump of beige pastry, but with a frangipane filling I guess.
