I bought a nutribullet. I have great intentions of using it. The reason for the purchase is because I'm experiencing some GI issues.
My idea was to use superfoods and get loads of nutrients in a drink.
My first smoothie attempt was
Carrot, Kale, cucumber, celery, avocado, a little ginger and apple juice. These are foods that I usually like as foods. It was awful. I couldn't drink it. Awful stuff.
The second smoothie was
Apple, kale, cucumber, celery, ginger, avocado and kefir.
This was a little bit better and I was able to drink about half of it and then I strong notes of a mix of celery and cucumber and ginger. I wasn't able to finish it.
I was so disappointed with both of these smoothies. I didn't follow a recipe by the way. I just made it up.
I would love to use vegetables and powerfoods for smoothies but so far it's not working for me very well.
