Colin the Caterpillar - non dairy alternative?

I'm trying to source a non-dairy/lactose free alternative to a Colin the Caterpillar cake for DD's birthday.

I am without a kitchen due to building work and so I need to buy something if possible - I would normally just make my own and so I am a novice at buying cake. Please can anyone suggest something

Can you buy a dairy free cake from a free from section and decorate it with the sweets?

There is this Tesco one but it has egg? We’re only GF so not up to speed with dairy allergies

Definitely a gap in the market for a vegan caterpillar cake!

Tesco do a Carl Caterpillar cake which is dairy free (contains eggs if that is an issue). I think Asda have one in their free from section too but you might need to visit a bigger store.

Eggs aren't dairy. I was going to suggest the Tesco one!
