Chickpea vegetable tagine

I recently had an amazing chickpea and vegetable tagine from a Moroccan food stall at a festival. I want to create something similar. Can anyone guide me to a recipe.
I seldom cook veg and have never cooked chickpeas!

Google for suggestions. Tagine uses cumin, paprika, ginger and ras el hanout spices. Lemon and garlic flavouring.

There's one on BBC Good Food website. You use the can if tinned chick peas. Would recommend a jar of rose harissa which has requisite tang. You can make this yourself but time-consuming.

Often make a variation on this. Start with onions, carrots, aubergines, and butternut squash or sweet potato cubed. Sauté till soft in olive oil with cumin, coriander seed, ginger, paprika, cinnamon, saffron, ras el hanout. Add tin of chickpeas and tin of chopped tomatoes (sometimes I skip the toms and just add a tinful of water instead). Simmer on very low heat for half an hour and then stir in a handful each of chopped parsley and coriander leaf. Serve with harissa and flatbread.
