We eat way too many takeaways, and I'm trying to save money and save for house, does anyone have a good cookbook or recipes for homemade takeaway? Thanks

Fail proof pizza - this is per pizza

225g plain or pizza flour
2tsp yeast dissolved in 150ml warm water.

Put in a mixer on a dough hook or hand kneed until it becomes the right consistency. Roll out and top with whatever you like. Easiest ever tomato sauce is passatta, tomato purée and herbs. You can obviously experiment to make it to your own taste.
My son started making these for us when he was 6 so if he can do it, most people can.

Dishoom is brilliant - if you like Dishoom. It has transformed my curry making.

One of the pinch of nom cook books has a chicken satay recipe. It’s absolutely amazing! Especially if you swap the coconut milk for beef stock.

The slimming world fakeaway book is one of my favourites (even though I hate slimming world!!) really tasty recipes and good for the waistline too!

The curry guy, his books are brilliant but there’s also a lot of recipes available on his website. Also Kwoklyn Wan’s Chinese takeaway book, he has a series on Amazon prime that’s really good.

I 'make' my own KFC zinger tower burger -
Flamin hot chicken thigh burgers from Aldi, bun, shredded lettuce, salsa, Mayo, slice of chilli cheese and a cauliflower hash brown. Tastes so much better.

Hairy dieters do a fakaway book which is fab especially the doner kebabs, I always batch make them and keep some in the freezer.

I love the kwoklyn wan cook books, I’ve cooked a couple from it.
I’m eyeing up the Donal Skehan orange chicken recipe to try soon, his fried chicken burger recipe is one of our favourites

Absolutely love the Itsu 20 Minute Suppers book. I have a lot of fancy recipe books but find I come back to this time and time again for quick and super tasty rice and noodle dishes

@ACloseMatch I love the Dishoom book too but other than the Chicken Ruby/Makhani recipe I'd be interested in what curry you've made

I like their fakeaways but the recipe I really like from that book is their cooked breakfast. It's so easy and so tasty. I love it for lunch on a lazy day.
