Fuddle / party food ideas fit for 2021?

[Toughie]

Looking for fuddle / finger food suggestions which are tasty, easy and yet impressive. Trying to avoid a 1970’s pineapple and cheese on sticks vibe.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Ah, hadn't head the term fuddle, assuming it's a combo of the words food and huddle now that I think about it.

Fresh sliced bread with butter and selection of sliced deli meats, those little rollitos were you roll a stick of cheddar with a slice of chorizo (or buy them ready rolled from the supermarket), pasta/rice/cous cous salad.

Never heard the word fiddle in my life. Is it a regional thing?

Sausage rolls should always be included, fresh bread, mini bruschetta, slices of melon, grapes, chicken skewers

Fuddle! Even my phone doesn’t like it

Why not stick with your sticks (although bamboo skewers are more 2021!) and do sweet chilli prawns and chorizo on sticks, peach wrapped in palms ham with basil and mozzarella on a stick. Or watermelon, feta and mint on a stick.

A good cheeseboard. Crackers, bread, chutney, grapes. Lovely fruit platter.

Falafel always good too

I've been serving chilled soup in little cups all summer - gazpacho is basic (and great to make if it's hot - no cooking!) but also chilled borscht, ajo blanco, spiced cream of carrot, cucumber-mint-yoghourt, sour cherry soup, and more. If the soup is clear or creamy - no solid elements - it's easy to sip and doesn't need a spoon.

To add to the above suggestions: homemade Pico de Gallo and a bowl of purple tortilla chips!
