Looking for an app that will save recipes, it doesn't need to suggest recipes, just save them.

Hopeful bump.
Cookbook app is going to be subscription only and I'd like some alternatives to consider before I stump up the sub fee!

I use Whisk. It also has an add-on where you can scan in recipes from books or magazines. I love it

I just use Google Keep - a separate note for each recipe, I either copy and paste it in our attach a screenshot/photo with a typed title so I can search later and find it.

Recipe Binder is a pretty good free app, you can upload photos, screenshots and web links to it and can create your own sections. I’ve found it really easy to use, especially as most online recipes have a print option which makes it easy to get tidy screenshots!
