Help me plan a birthday BBQ

We are having 9 people (6 adults and 3 kids) over for DH's birthday in 2 weeks. Hoping for good weather so we can do a BBQ.
People are coming around 11 so I am thinking we'll do burgers and then the following sides:

  • pasta salad
  • grilled potatoes on the BBQ
  • grilled courgettes on the BBQ
  • Mexican corn salad
  • Greek salad

For pudding I am doing cake and I've ordered some brownies and cupcakes.

Is this enough? I know it's good for lunch but fearing if people stay later (like 4pm, 5pm....) they might start to get peckish. If so, what would you suggest I put out for the evening?

Thank you.

Your mains sound lovely. Agree maybe add some grilled chicken or tuna, and make life easier with pre-threaded mixed veg skewers

Thank you all!!!
We usually do different types of meat when BBQing, however we recently went for a BBQ, they did only burgers and LOADS of side dishes. Everything was so lovely that you didn't miss any meat. And it felt like less stress on the hosts too. All the sides were prepped ahead of time so they just did the burgers on the BBQ and had time to chill and have a drink with the guests. We were all stuffed and went home with doggy bags full of potato salad and pasta salad :)
So I thought wow that was so relaxing, our BBQs always seem stressful trying to juggle different types of meat, different cooking times, etc.
