Covid eating

Hi, I'm on day 6 following positive Covid PCR. I can't taste or smell anything, apart from maybe very sweet things. I do get hungry, but eating feels like a drag. Any ideas of food that can make eating a tad more enjoyable?

I've no ideas sorry just wanted to offer some sympathy. I have a colleague who had Covid-19 over a month ago and still hasn't properly recovered her sense of taste.

Hope you find something soon.

I was in the same boat when I had it and I loved having roast potatoes with loads of salt on. Not usually a fan of salty food, but even though I couldn't actually taste anything I could tell if something was sweet or salty. That combined with the crunchiness of the potato was just lovely.

Hope you feel better soon.

I still have no smell either but I'm pregnant so make myself eat

I did enjoy a few naughty snacks tho which were pickled onion space raiders and chilli doritoes Hmm

I know eating is such hard work when you have no appetite for it just remember you need some good in you

I also found I was over doing the salt so things were tasting better I've just decided now to be happy with the bland until my smell return

Sorry I can't help it totally sucks

Beige food like toast n beans or peanut butter are an easy go to also and not to unhealthy
