Do people cook the same meals every week

Hi everyone just wondering if people tend to cook the same meals every week or different. I find that i cook different meals but then end up disappointed if I don't like the recipe

Not exactly the same every week, but I do have maybe 10 meals that I make regularly, and then others less so. I do admit I eat my favourites quite a lot! But why not?!

I do have a repertoire of tried and tested staples, but I like trying new recipes too. Sometimes one I see in the paper, sometimes I have a couple of ingredients I want to use, and find a recipe online. But we are two omniverous adults, no fads or allergies.

No, I’d find that so boring! We look for new recipes each week, but may also do 1 or 2 favourites. We both love trying new recipes.

Thanks everyone i might try a few new meals and try work out a meal plan. Might make it easier than always wondering what to cook

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor

I probably have 3 weeks worth of meals that I rotate plus new recipes now and again.
Same here

It's all in the seasoning! Summer is all salads, rice, jacket potatos or wraps for us, and whatever meat/fish/mushrooms we have on the side just gets seasoned differently each time. So chicken/pork/turkey might be garlic and chive, lemon and thyme, paprika and oregano, honey and mustard, ginger and spring onion, tandoori or sweet chilli. White fish might be lemon and parsley, dill and butter etc. Lamb mince kebabs with Moroccan spice or rosemary and thyme, beef mince kebabs can be made with virtually any seasoning, anything goes. Salmon tends to be lemon butter or tartare sauce. Mushrooms are super versatile, as much as it's tempting to go with garlic butter, all the seasonings for white meats work well.
Winter I tend to go for soups and stews, also just varying seasonings, or roast dinners.
Stroganoffs are always a winner and can be made with just veg or meat, bolognaise, casseroles/stews just use a different meat and stock each time with seasonal veg. There are millions of curry recipes, but as long as you have garam masala, coriander leaf, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and coconut cream you can make a fab curry.

No. We get a veg box so once I know what's in it for the week, I use that to plan or Google recipes (we get butternut squash A LOT so had to Google millions of different ideas so we don't have squash risotto weekly!)
