I have made the Christmas cake from the "How to be a domestic goddess" book for the past 6 years. I think it's good.

i am looking at it now and thinking it looks nice.It is going to be quite expensive to make though and i am wondering if enough people will want to eat it.
my mum has a similar xmas cake recipe that uses a tin of Guinness- so i might do that instead

I've been making it too for the past 3 years and it is delicious, worth doing I think.

Yay have actually mad the Nigella Christmas cake today.Get me! I looked in the cupboard and realised i had most of the ingredients already- had to add in a couple of extra boxes of lunchbox raisins to make up the weight
it is cooking as we speak.Looks very good- nice and fruity.
will let you all know at Christmas if it gets the Cremola family seal of approval
