I have a health condition which means I have great difficulty digesting starchy carbs in particular and anything too fibrous.
Things I can only eat tiny quantities of include - bread, pasta, rice, grains, potatoes and other below ground veg, bran etc. Eggs are also problematic.
I can eat limited quantities of beans.
I mostly eat fish, meat and above ground veg. I am ok with dairy and carbs in things like cabbage.
When I cook for the kids, I give them a meal with carbs eg spag bog and I just eat the sauce with salad.
But my weekly bill for food is quite high - does anyone have any cheap or cheapish meal ideas that might fit the brief?
