Freezing Gammon

If I buy a gammon joint now and freeze it will it be ok in about 5 months? They all say freeze on day of purchase and use within 1 month.

I'm going to be away and working a lot mid December so looking for ways to take the pressure off.

No, gammon doesn't freeze well at all. It's one of the things I'd really pay attention to the limits of.

I thought, by the title of this thread, that it was going to be about an angry white middle-aged man, who was also very cold......
