It's a miracle. DS has just eaten "spicy" food!!!

OK, so it wasn't really that spicy but he knew it was called curry and he still ate it.

It was one of these which I bought on purpose because I knew it would be very mild, clearly for children, with "korma" written clearly on the front. DS has developed such a fear of spicy food that I thought we had to start with something. And he ate it! With peas and naan bread.

Anyone got a good "chicken korma for children" recipee so I can do my own!

Just make a curry using a mild curry poweder and lots of yoghurt, either in the curry or as a raita with cucumber and mint.

Do you make your own curry for you & dh? If so, make as usual (assuming it's not very hot), and then take out your portions. add a tin of coconut milk, or loads of natural yoghurt to the other half, and there you go (I have been known to do this using Sainsbury's organic tikka masala sauce, and it's very nice - both dds (3 and 9 months) ate it no trouble)

I know, it's simple really isn't it. I'm just so chuffed I got him to conceed that curry could be nice. I really can't do your "making them eat it" routine And I can be tough, honest, I did CC! But crappy mealtimes are more than I can bear.

Have been telling DS he'll be on vindaloos next. He thinks he's fab.
