How to use large bag dried dates?

Got loads of them! Going to make a pear and date cake with some of them, but recipe only uses 1 cups worth.

Anyone know any good recipes to use them up?

Date and orange loaf. Best left wrapped in foil for a few days, then slice and spread with butter. Heaven!
