Hi il am looking for quick and easy sauce recipes for traditional British meals , pasta and rice / noodle dishes , tia

That's a bit vague but my top tip for making easy pasta sauces is to fry off whatever meat/vegetables you're using and then just add a dollop of cream cheese. Instant cheesy sauce.

If I cook steak/chops etc in a frying pan I sometimes just add lemon juice and some butter to the pan after for a v basic lemon/butter sauce. If I'm cooking for the kids who want gravy I add a few tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and then pre-made bisto. Not fancy, but does job.
