Is there any way of rescuing a too-salty risotto? No time to start again...

Not really. I don't find that risotto needs any salt - how much did you add and what kind of risotto?

put in a slice or two of raw potato, it absorbs a lot of salt. After a few minutes taste, and chuck the potato when the salt level is back to your liking. Been there!

It was Marigold bouillon powder I put in, not salt. (I made it up as per instructions...) I don't use much salt in cooking and it tastes way too salty for my taste, let alone the dcs'.

Maybe next time I'll use just plain water or a teensy wensy bit of the Marigold...?

Next time try the low salt veg stock made by Kallo if you can find it.

Never knew that BananaPudding! Will remember that one!

Will do Soupdragon. Risotto in bin! (Irredeemable, I'm afraid.)

On the plus side, christmas cake in oven, smelling divine...yummmmmmmmmmm.....
