Cornflake cakes

Hello all!

I'm wanting to make some cornflake cakes with my DS but not chocolate cornflake cakes as he won't eat choc.
Googling has thrown up all sorts, oven/fridge/crunchy nut flakes/syrup/honey/butter/sugar etc etc.

Give me your tried and tested (and yummy!) cornflake cake recipes please!

We did them recently with melted marshmallow and rice crispies, they end up more chewy than chocolate ones obviously. My kids loved them!

Marshmallows?! They sound good!

To be honest my son hasn't got much of a sweet tooth but I want to get him helping out with cooking/baking. He loves dry cereal though which is why I thought try him with cornflake cakes

Cornflake tart is easy - your son could help with the pastry bit too.
Lots of different recipes for it on the web.
