Can you do anything with loads of sweets past their best

I've got a small shelf full of things like Halloween sweets, mainly hard or chewy (not chocolate as I like that too much!). They are past their best, but I think they'd still be fine to eat. Is there anything I can make with it that gets rid of the lot in one fell swoop?!

Flavoured vodka?

If you've got some boiled sweets you can crush them up and make stained glass window biscuits.

Full out sugar rush - make a cake (chocolate if you can) and decorate it with all the sweets.
Cake never lasts long in this house so no chance of it going out of date.
